Our Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) test will check your ovarian reserve to identify whether your hormone level is normal for your age, which may impact your fertility levels.
An AMH test is often used to check a woman’s ability to produce eggs that can be fertilised for pregnancy. A woman’s ovaries can make thousands of eggs during her childbearing years, but the number declines with age. AMH levels help show how many potential egg cells a woman has left, known as the ovarian reserve.
If your reserve is high, you may have a better chance of getting pregnant, or the opportunity to wait longer before trying to get pregnant.
If your ovarian reserve is low, it may mean you could have trouble getting pregnant, and may choose to try for a baby sooner rather than later.
